The people behind Yasashii Gohan: Interviews with producers

Suzunone Kitchen's "easy meals" are supported by the hands of local producers. This time, we spoke with Nakanishi-san, a vegetable farmer who has been helping us for many years.
Nakanishi's farm is located on a small hill on the outskirts of Matsusaka City. In his fields, sparkling with morning dew, colorful vegetables grow with each season. "Vegetables, like people, don't do well if you rush them. If you wait patiently, they'll grow nice and tasty," he says with a gentle smile, which always encourages us.
At Suzunone Kitchen, we make it a priority to serve Nakanishi's vegetables in their original flavor as much as possible. For example, the "Grilled Seasonal Vegetable Plate" is a popular dish that uses only salt and olive oil to bring out the sweetness of the ingredients.
Although the fields and kitchen are in different locations, we share the same goal: "We want to make food that makes people feel good when they eat it." The emotional connection between the producers and us chefs shapes the flavors of Suzunone Kitchen.
